chair diary 9th March

For the first time, four out of five parts slid together and fit very well.

I used the scroll saw for areas that needed cutting out that were in the middle of the wood
like the slots at both sides.
I did this by taking the saw bit out of its encasment type thing and putting the drilled hole in the wood over it then putting the saw bit back, then I sawed it normal.
This meant my cut was much more even and precise than with a coping saw
and i didnt have to sand it down as much.
The other few things I did this lesson was to cut out more peices, sand the circles at the top of the back piece with the disc sander and made more even finishes to some areas of the wood using sand paper and (cant remeber the name of the thing)

Netx lesson I need to aim to finish the chair, curve off edges
